Craziest week ever

Tomorrow is my birthday. If any of you (hint hint...) are intown on Friday night say...7pm ish we are celebrating my new age at Emerys (Matt and Kristed, S and S have all details.) It is a bring your own dead animal to grill and your own beverage adult or kiddie. Good ol southern fun.
On to the good stuff. The parental units are ariving in town on Thursday. If anyone has been here and can offer anything for them to do aside of "Hey, there is downtown, yes it certainly is an impressive block and a half radius" let me know. We are doing the Ruby falls, Rock city thing.
Hope everyone is well, will write more when not frazzled!! Oh, I did lose my ebay auction for a great anthropologie shirt. I had it for 10 (a 60$ value) and someone swooped in in the last 4 (4!!) minutes and upped my bid. It ruined my day till I remembered that I had a laptop. I am so easily amused it is scary.

Hi Karla!!! Now you can't yell at me for not reading your blog :) Actually, I am at work and bored to tears, so I thought I'd pay you a visit since its your BIRTHDAY tomorrow!! I think our family placed a little too much on our special days when we were kids, because I already have a countdown to the big #2-4 for myself (38 days) and everybody in my office thinks I am crazy. However, I did get a brownie on my desk with a "38 days to go" post-it. I guess my job isnt THAT bad.
A little comment on your birthday festivities: You shouldn't do ANYTHING with a dead animal other than feel sorry for it and if it is barely dead try and bring it back to life. I know that your new state is chock full of cavemen, but maybe you could all make some nice veggie-burgers? I am sure that the studies on tennessee residents and heart disease are not simply coincidence. OK, now i just sound like a big b-word. I am sorry...to Karla and anybody else reading this. I probably should have emailed you :) I love you and I will call you on your birthday mornin'

Beth, I think your right. You see internet, my family had birthday week. It was a WEEK of your birthday. Basically everyone served you. It was genius and made us feel special, not at all over indulged and help us to curb that nasty "Lord of all" complex that we were developing.
